Our client, a well-established and dynamic organization, is seeking an experienced Treasury Officer to join their busy and supportive Finance team. This role is based at their modern Perth Head Office and reports directly to the Treasury Manager. The Treasury team is responsible for the reconciliation of bank accounts and the management of inflows from a large number of sites.

The Role:

• Assist with month-end close-off procedures and conduct monthly general ledger reconciliations.
• Perform daily journals and monitor financial transactions to ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage Cash-in-Transit reconciliation processes.
• Engage with and provide support to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend streamlining solutions.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A recent graduate with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field will be highly regarded.
• Practical experience in cash management is highly desirable.
• Exceptional analytical skills with great attention to detail.
• Fast and accurate data entry skills to excel in this dynamic Treasury Officer role.
• Strong communication abilities to confidently engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, both face-to-face and in written communication.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience with Oracle is a plus.
• A positive, proactive attitude, with the ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.
• Dedicated and committed to contributing to the performance and success of the portfolio.
