Are you an experienced Speech Therapist looking for a role that values a supportive and diverse team environment? Our client, a growing healthcare provider, is seeking passionate and dedicated Speech Therapists to join their vibrant team in Melbourne. This role offers flexibility, a collaborative workplace, and the opportunity to work with a diverse range of participants (ages 0-65) with both physical and mental health needs.

With continued growth in their Allied Health division, they are looking for an experienced Speech Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team. As a not-for-profit organisation, they are dedicated to providing high-quality care to the community, working with individuals with a variety of physical and mental disabilities to enhance their well-being and quality of life.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language therapy assessments, interventions, and evaluations for NDIS participants.
  • Deliver high-quality clinical care, using evidence-based practices and policies.
  • Collaborate with participants, carers, and professionals across medical, nursing, and allied health to provide holistic care.
  • Provide community-based services, visiting schools and homes to support NDIS participants across the lifespan.
  • Uphold and promote the organisation's core values, representing a positive image in all interactions.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Therapy and current SPA registration.
  • Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Current Police Check, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including psychosocial disabilities, as well as families and carers.
  • Commitment to promoting dignity, respect, inclusion, and empowerment of participants.
  • Ability to provide advanced clinical advice and mentorship to peers and support staff.
  • Experience in quality improvement and research activities is an advantage.
