Our client, a leading company in their industry, is currently looking for a talented and experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join their team on a part-time basis. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring that all tasks are completed with precision and compliance.
• Interpret and apply Industrial Agreements, policies, procedures, and legislation related to payroll, including taxation, workers' compensation, and long service leave.
• Liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to address payroll matters.
• Identify and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency.
• Ensure all statutory requirements and reporting obligations are met on time.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in payroll supervision, with the ability to manage end-to-end payroll processes for a large organization.
• In-depth understanding of Industrial Agreements, taxation laws, workers' compensation, and long service leave regulations.
• Ability to manage leave applications, accruals, and reporting via the payroll system.
• Experience managing Superannuation, Workers Compensation, and Payroll Tax filing and reporting in line with statutory regulations.
• Prior experience in handling payroll for 300+ employees in a project environment.
• Familiarity with payroll system administration and configuration, with prior experience using ELMO Payroll being highly advantageous.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
