If you have extensive mining or mining services experience within a large company this is for you. This exciting, operationally focused role will cover national projects in a broad role that will challenge you in all the right ways.

We are looking for someone technically strong who understands the operational / month end process for mining projects across the county. This will require someone who is excellent with a variety of stakeholders and has the ability to work on multiple projects and teams.

Responsibilities:

• Monthly reporting and journal preparation for multiple projects.
• Completion of variance analysis and review of project performance.
• Prepare accurate balance sheet reconciliations in a timely manner.
• Prepare a monthly Project Performance Reporting pack.
• Participate in monthly project performance review meetings.
• Provide appropriate divisions with weekly cost analysis across projects P&L.
• Continuous improvement and optimised financial systems and processes to increase the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting. (SAP)

Experience:

• CA/CPA qualification is a MUST HAVE.
• FULL working rights within Australia.
• 5-8 years of qualified level accounting and finance experience.
• Mining or Mining Services experience is an advantage here.
• SAP experience is nice to have but not critical.
• Strong month end, stakeholder engagement and an eye for detail.
