MARS Recruitment is partnering with a large Insurance organisation seeking to hire a Senior Financial Accountant on a 9-month contract. This team plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and providing valuable insights to support business decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for financial reporting incl. profit and loss and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Carrying out the month-end activities.
• Assisting in half and year-end reporting for the group.
• Managing queries from senior management and auditors.
• Building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as a key relationship point of contact with internal and external auditors.
• Contribute to various projects around productivity improvements, control enhancements and system implementation.

Requirements & Notes:

• CA/CPA/ACCA qualified.
• Financial Services or Insurance experience would be advantageous.
• Flexible work from home arrangements.
• Requires at least 3 years commerical experience.
