About the Role

As an API Engineer, you will collaborate with business stakeholders across operations, risk, infrastructure, finance, compliance, customer sales, onboarding, and support teams worldwide. Your mission will be to design, develop, and deploy new systems and services while maintaining and improving existing ones.

This role primarily involves coding in Golang, with infrastructure hosted in AWS Cloud.

Initially, your efforts will focus on the Key Responsibilities outlined below. Over time, your scope will expand to include areas like infrastructure design and cost optimization, legacy API upgrades, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate new trading platforms with internal systems and a partner-facing API, which you will help build.
• Connect liquidity providers with bridge providers (don't worry if the terminology is new - we'll guide you).
• Support internal and external teams in diagnosing and resolving system integration issues.
• Design, develop, and deploy new systems and services while maintaining and improving existing ones.

Key Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience, with strong preference for Golang expertise.
• Experience with, or understanding of, fault-tolerant, critical information flows (e.g., trading systems, payment services, or financial data management).
• A curious mindset with a strong willingness to learn and document your findings.
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud computing.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps and/or DevSecOps practices.

Work Arrangements

This role requires a minimum of 4 days per week in the office at their CBD location.
