About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established clinic located in Malaga. We're seeking a skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join their dedicated team. This role offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment where you can make a significant impact on patient health and well-being. With over 30 years of experience, our client's clinic is a trusted name in the community. They offer a wide range of services including manual therapy, clinical exercise, vertigo assessment and treatment, exercise prescription, post and pre-op rehabilitation, sports injury management, and more.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied patient caseload, providing top-tier physiotherapy assessments and treatments.
  • Accurately complete clinical paperwork, including note-taking and report writing.
  • Achieve and surpass weekly performance targets, contributing to the clinic's ongoing success.
  • Attend weekly and monthly meetings to stay aligned with clinic goals and updates.
  • Participate in monthly social media activities to help promote the clinic's services and achievements.
  • Adhere to patient and clinic protocols, ensuring the highest standards of care.
  • Attend one external professional development course per year to maintain and enhance your skills.
  • Coordinate patient care with team leaders, administrative staff, insurance case managers, and NDIS plan managers.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in administering tests to diagnose and assess muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability issues.
  • Capable of designing and implementing bespoke treatment programmes to address a wide range of patient needs.
  • Experience in using therapeutic techniques such as exercise, heat, cold, massage, hydrotherapy, electrotherapy, and ultrasound.
  • Strong ability to monitor, assess, and evaluate treatment programmes, adjusting them as needed for optimal results.
  • Ability to consult with other health professionals regarding patient care when necessary.
  • Skilled in educating patients and their families on at-home procedures to support ongoing recovery.
  • Experience in documenting treatments and monitoring patient progress.


About You:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's in Physiotherapy.
  • General Registration with AHPRA
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance.
  • A solid understanding of evidence-based practice and the ability to apply it in daily care.
  • Excellent communication skills, both with patients and within a team.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to upholding legal, ethical, and regulatory standards in all aspects of care.
