Occupational Therapist - Aged Care | Part-Time Fixed-Term Contract


Are you an Occupational Therapist looking for a meaningful role in aged care? Join a leading not-for-profit organisation in Western Australia that is dedicated to empowering older Adults to live fulfilling lives. With a strong commitment to person-centred care, we are looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist to work across two aged care sites in Mandurah and Rockingham.

About the Role
This part-time, fixed-term position offers a unique opportunity to work across two aged care facilities, delivering high-quality therapy and lifestyle programs that enhance residents' quality of life.

  • 25 hours per week until August 2025, then transitioning to 13 hours per week until February 2026 with potential for extension.
  • Flexible working arrangements with roster negotiable at the interview.
  • Open to applicants at all levels of experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver customer-centred therapy services to aged care residents.
  • Conduct therapy assessments and respond to clinical referrals.
  • Plan and implement individual and group therapeutic activities.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide guidance to Therapy Assistants.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and information systems.
  • Ensure services align with Aged Care Quality Standards and best practices.

About You

  • AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Tertiary Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience in aged care or supporting individuals with dementia is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively within a team.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Commitment to providing person-centred care.
  • Drivers license and reliable vehicle
