About the Role:
Are you a skilled Network Engineer looking for your next challenge? We are working with a leading solution provider in Sydney seeking a talented professional to join their team on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge infrastructure projects and collaborate with industry experts to deliver innovative solutions for financial services clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and manage Cisco Catalyst/Viptela SDWAN solutions, including:
• Tunnels to external cloud providers via internet breakouts from the WAN Edge.
• Zone-Based Firewall configuration and management on the WAN Edge.
• Integration of logs from SDWAN into Microsoft Sentinel.
• Oversee and manage Azure Networking, focusing on:
• Azure Firewall Policy Management.
• Infrastructure as Code delivery via Pipelines and Bicep.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, including:
• Checkpoint Firewall Policy Management.
• AlgoSec for Azure Firewall and Checkpoint Firewall policy management.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience with Cisco Catalyst/Viptela SDWAN.
• Strong expertise in Azure Networking, including Azure Firewall and Infrastructure as Code.
• Advanced knowledge of Checkpoint Firewall and policy management tools like AlgoSec.
• Ability to integrate and manage logs using tools like Microsoft Sentinel.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
