About the Job

In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and practical support to my client's Education Portfolio. This role involves teaching professional development courses for fellows, supervisors, and examiners.
You will also provide educational expertise to internal and external stakeholder groups to maximise the learning of both fellows and trainees.
You will help drive innovation in line with best-evidence medical education across my client's portfolios.

About the Company

My client is a reputable professional medical organisation responsible for the training, education, and accreditation of its members in Australia and New Zealand. They are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Medical Educator who is ready to make an immediate impact!

Responsibilities

  • Provide education and training advice to the Education Portfolio teams as required.
  • Teach professional development courses for fellows and examiners as the lead educator.
  • Enhance the facilitation skills and teaching quality of my client's education faculty, trainers, and supervisors by facilitating professional development activities.
  • Contribute to ongoing quality assurance, innovation, and development of best-practice education, training, and assessment programmes across my client's portfolios.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders in regard to education, training, and assessment.

Criteria:

  • Master of Education (MSc) or equivalent qualification
  • Health professional background (e.g. nursing, allied health, etc.) - desirable
  • Extensive experience in the design, delivery, and evaluation of education programmes
  • Facilitation experience in face-to-face and online courses
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in the design, development, and evaluation of eLearning packages - desirable
