Marketing Manager I Life Science / Biotechnology Industry

Reporting to the Head of Marketing in Germany, the Marketing Manager is responsible for implement marketing initiatives globally.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing in Germany, the Marketing Manager will be the sole Marketing resource in Melbourne, looking after marketing activities in the US, Europe and the APAC region. You will be responsible for implement digital marketing tactics in cooperation with corporate marketing such as email and social media campaigns, online advertising, and digital events (conferences and webinars) to support lead generation efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of strategic marketing plans, identifying customer needs and market opportunities
  • Collaboration with management, sales, and product development to align strategies with product and business goals
  • Development and implementation of cross-channel marketing plans to achieve revenue targets
  • Continuous improvement of website presence
  • Establishment and monitoring of KPIs with data-driven optimization
  • Collaboration with marketing units for company-wide initiatives
  • Supports the development of medium-term and long-term strategic plans for the business, including identifying customer needs, analyzing the competitive landscape, and building plans to ensure the long-term success of the business.
  • Supports the development of differentiated positioning and messaging strategies that resonate with target audiences and drive competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product development and operations to align marketing strategies with product roadmap and business priorities
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies and campaigns, and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance across all marketing channels

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing
  • 5+ years of Business to Business (B2B) marketing experience in the life sciences industry
  • Proven experience in developing marketing strategies for scientific products
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools
  • Proficient in CRM systems, Google Analytics, and MS Dynamics
  • A self-starter with a proactive approach, thriving in dynamic environments
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to navigate corporate structures and collaborate effectively across global teams
