Role: Investment Analytics, Performance Analyst

Role and Responsibilities

Mars Recruitment is currently working with a global financial institution who is seeking a Performance Analyst to join their Investment Analytics team. Part of the Client Delivery department, the role involve overseeing the daily performance, attribution, and risk reporting services, and collaborating with clients to ensure high-quality service delivery.

• Oversee the delivery of performance, risk, and attribution reporting services to clients.
• Manage the relationship and work close with the offshore team.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing performance and reporting queries.
• Monitor the quality and accuracy of reporting outputs and ensure compliance with agreed service standards.
• Regularly meet with clients to ensure the service meets agreed-upon KPIs and maintain strong relationships.
• Support project and change management initiatives and client onboarding.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimising reporting processes.

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in performance analysis, with hands-on knowledge of performance measurement, attribution calculations, and reporting.
• Familiarity with performance methodologies and attribution models.
• Experience with various asset types, including derivatives, and other financial instruments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of VBA, SQL, Bloomberg is desirable.
• A tertiary qualification in a relevant field; CFA preferred but not essential.
