Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Finance Reconciliation Officer to join a supportive and growing team in the CBD. This role offers the opportunity to take charge of key financial reconciliations and transactions, contributing to the smooth operation of the finance function.
Competitive salary range: $68,000 - $72,000 + Super

Key Responsibilities:
Point of Sale Reconciliations & Journals: Manage the majority of daily reconciliations and journal entries.
Financial Monitoring: Oversee daily journal entries, ensuring accurate tracking of financial transactions and record-keeping.
Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements and manage cash-in-transit reconciliations.
Month-End Processes: Complete month-end close-offs and conduct General Ledger (GL) reconciliations.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide support across various functions.
Process Improvement: Identify and recommend opportunities for process enhancements and operational streamlining.
Role Requirements:
Excel Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
General Ledger & Transactional Experience: Strong experience in GL reconciliations and handling high-volume, transactional roles.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to apply strong analytical thinking and solve problems with a focus on precision.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Attention to Detail: Fast and accurate data entry skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Oracle Experience: Hands-on experience with Oracle (desirable, but not essential).
Team Player: A proactive, 'can-do' attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
