Mars Recruitment is partnering with a fintech organisation in search for a skilled professional with a passion for managing credit risk and driving strategic insights. In this role, you will play a critical part in identifying, assessing, and managing credit risk to ensure the organisations' activities align with the risk appetite and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies within the risk analytics team to grow the consumer loan credit portfolio while managing losses effectively.
• Streamline and enhance credit processes to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Create and maintain comprehensive reports on key risk metrics, portfolio concentrations, and trends.
• Monitor the regulatory landscape to anticipate and address potential compliance risks.
• Prepare ad-hoc risk management and industry analysis reports.
• Proactively analyze key metrics and trends, diagnosing issues, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with teams across compliance, technology, marketing, operations, and finance to align on risk management goals.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 3-4 years of experience in credit risk analysis with a strong understanding of consumer credit products.
• Familiarity with credit policies, standards, regulations, and compliance issues.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, SAS, or Python to perform substantial dataset analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective presentations and collaboration with stakeholders.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple projects efficiently.
