Mars Recruitment is partnered with a growing financial company who is looking for an analytical, solutions-focused Credit Analyst to join their dynamic credit team. You will play a key role in shaping lending decisions and providing guidance across the business, making this an exciting opportunity to grow professionally while contributing to innovative financial solutions.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Conducting detailed credit assessments in line with responsible lending practices.
• Supporting the development and review of credit policies and procedures.
• Providing expert advice to staff or brokers on loan applications, eligibility, and verification processes.
• Assisting with compliance reporting, portfolio monitoring, and risk management initiatives.
• Contributing to process improvements and company-wide credit risk projects.

Essential Criteria:

• Proven experience in home loan credit lending and analysis, ideally with secured credit exposure.
• Previously held a DLA or underwriting authority preferred.
• A creative problem-solver who can think critically and challenge where needed.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
• A passion for continuous learning and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage compliance outcomes and navigate complex situations.
