Communications Specialist

Deliver a top notic experience for our customers through all communication touch points

Join our client's dynamic Customer Communications team, where you'll play a pivotal role in managing end-to-end customer communications for a range of business initiatives. As the voice of the customer, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality, compliant communications, while fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and delivery of customer communication materials: Own the entire process from concept to execution, ensuring that communication materials align with both business objectives and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal creative teams: Work closely with the in-house creative team to ensure all communications reflect the brand's tone of voice and creative direction. Provide clear briefs and constructive feedback to ensure the final product meets high standards.
  • Advocate for customer-centric solutions: Act as a customer champion within the business, identifying where initiatives impact customer communications and recommending best practices to enhance the customer experience.
  • Manage communications processes and data: Oversee the systems, processes, and data that trigger communications, ensuring smooth operations, and identifying areas for improvement to drive efficiency.
  • Partner with external vendors: Liaise with external vendors, such as mail houses, to manage communication distribution and ensure operational effectiveness. Monitor daily workflows and budgets to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance: Maintain accurate records of all communications to meet regulatory standards. Work with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure all materials go through the necessary compliance checks.

About You:

  • Commercial experience in communications: You bring solid experience in customer communications, ideally within regulated industries such as energy or finance, where compliance is critical.
  • Strong stakeholder management and project management skills: You have a proven track record of working with various stakeholders, balancing business needs with customer experience, and managing multiple projects simultaneously to successful completion.
  • Customer-focused mindset: You naturally view communications from the customer's perspective, advocating for solutions that provide clear, valuable information, while being comfortable offering feedback to writers and creative teams.
  • Tech-savvy and data-driven: You have the ability to analyze complex customer data, navigate communication platforms, and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Collaborative and proactive: You're a resourceful problem-solver who can take initiative and build strong working relationships across teams.
