Collections Officer

Collections Officer job opportunity with a large utilities business located in Melbourne CBD on an initial 2-month contract

The Role:

  • Initial 2 month temporary contract with view for extension
  • Eastern suburbs of Melbourne
  • Hybrid working (3 days in the office & 2 days WFH / week)
  • $35 - 38PH + Super
  • Must have experience in managing medium-large payroll


Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact customers to request payment on outstanding debts
  • Record all information accurately on internal company CRM
  • Deliver activity and behaviour consistent with company expectations
  • Reporting on all call activity - Recording successfull calls
  • Planning and executing follow up calls as required


What we are looking for:

  • 2 + years experience as a Collections Officer
  • Execellent written and verbal communicatio skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships
  • Experience in identifying and implementing service improvements
  • Problem Solving ability
  • High level of accuracy
