The Opportunity
As a Cloud Application Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and supporting bespoke software solutions.
Reporting in to the Applications Support Manager, you will be working closely with the broader support team and focus on developing and supporting critical applications used across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Development: Build and enhance web applications using modern frameworks and tools.
Solution Design: Architect, define, and maintain scalable and efficient solution architectures.
Technical Guidance: Offer expert technical advice and review deliverables to support project teams.
Process Optimization: Drive Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for smooth and efficient releases.
Secure Practices: Ensure compliance with secure coding practices and align with industry standards.
Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges with innovative solutions.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and actively contribute to Agile Scrum processes.
Mentorship: Guide and mentor team members to uphold high-quality coding and development standards.
Enhancements: Deliver improvements to existing solutions while adhering to best development practices.
Data Solutions: Promote and facilitate the adoption of data solutions across the organization.
Data Understanding: Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the organization's data landscape.
Documentation: Create and update support documentation to ensure operational clarity and continuity.
Skills Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, or a related field.
Strong Experience in Web Development technologies such as C#, .Net, Python, HTML, CSS, Typescript, React, Nodejs
Proven expertise with AWS or Azure
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technology.
Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
