Bookkeeper / Payroll Officer

Looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/Payroll Officer for a varied role. Must have solid payroll experience and excellent communication skills.

The Role:

  • Full time permanent, or part-time with minimum 4 days / week
  • Fully office based through training, after this 1 day WFH / week
  • Corporate environment in the professional services industry
  • Must have previous payroll experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll processing for 100 staff members fortnightly
  • Processing payroll tax returns
  • Workcover reporting
  • BAS completion
  • Data entry of disbursements and invoices
  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Trust account entries and reconciliations
  • Trust account reporting
  • Checking and inputting invoices and prepare for monthly creditor payrun and other creditor payments
  • Accounts payable including following up any discrepencies
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Disbursement reconciliations to invoices
  • Follow up missing information re disbursements as needed

Key Requirements:

  • Must have previous experience in processing payroll
  • Previous experience in AP
  • Experience in using MicroPay and MYOB advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills

AU$75000 - AU$90000 per annum + package depending on experience
