Our client is seeking a motivated and emerging Assistant Accountant to join a skilled and well-established Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual eager to expand their accounting expertise while contributing to a collaborative and dynamic environment. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering financial and management accounting services, as well as providing comprehensive financial administration support.
Duties
Assist with financial and management reporting including preparation of manual journals as required.
Prepare Bank Reconciliations as required.
Assist with the reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
Provide assistance to credit card management and accounting process.
Assist with taxation research for the office as required
Provide end to end Accounts Receivable.
Provide assistance on all finance team functions, as directed.
Provide financial and administration assistance to other team members as required.
Requirements
Part Qualified Professional Accounting Agree (CA)
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software packages
Demonstrated ability to work independently and to prioritise work functions
Ability to take initiative, be proactive and self-directed
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work within a team
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Highly organised and able to demonstrate sound judgement, confidentiality, and discretion.
