AP Officer (12-month FTC)

Join a growing company on a 12-month FTC parental leave cover. Senior role managing the whole AP function. MYOB experience advantageous.

The Role:

  • 12-month FTC with potential to extend / go permanent
  • Inner suburbs of Melbourne
  • Fully office based role
  • $70-80k + super depending on experience
  • Senior AP role managing the whole function (high volume & multi-entity)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with the approvals process for payments
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments across multiple bank accounts
  • Issue inter-company invoices as required
  • Follow up with suppliers for invoices and statements
  • Perform monthly supplier reconciliations for key accounts
  • Confirm payments and provide remittances
  • Answer internal payment related queries
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Schedule and prepare payments, including invoices to suppliers, and inter-company transfers between multiple bank accounts
  • Resolve payment discrepancies and disputes with suppliers
  • Reconcile multiple bank accounts to ensure correct and accurate coding

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounts payable (high volume, multi-entity)
  • Proficiency in accounting software (MYOB is desirable) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Fast learner and comfortable with managing multiple tasks at once
  • Ability to take direction but also work autonomously
