The Role
As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will be integral to managing the accounts' payable function. Your role will focus on ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and supporting the month-end close process. You will work closely with internal teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run weekly payment cycles, manage supplier data, and assist with month-end reporting.
• Process ad-hoc payments and collaborate with relevant departments to gather approvals and supporting documentation.
• Handle payroll payments, employee superannuation contributions, and PAYG tax obligations.
• Accurately set up new suppliers, record invoices, and perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
• Manage credit card transactions, staff expenses, and ensure smooth processing of payments.
• Support financial audits and maintain documentation for compliance purposes.
• Analyse AP results and report on creditor aging.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role.
• Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
