MARS Recruitment is proud to partner with a well-established mining company based in South Perth, who is seeking to hire a dedicated and experienced Accounts Payable / Accounts Officer on a permanent, full-time basis. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete accounts payable function from start to finish, ensuring smooth and accurate processing.
• Coordinate and manage the weekly payment runs, ensuring timely and precise payments.
• Reconcile corporate credit cards and travel accounts, maintaining accuracy across all financial data.
• Manage and process pay runs for up to 15 employees, ensuring all payroll-related transactions are completed correctly.
• Reconcile supplier statements and proactively follow up on any discrepancies to ensure accurate records.
• Support the establishment and continuous improvement of financial controls, policies, and processes, working closely with the Financial Controller.

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in an Accounts Payable or Accounts Officer role, ideally within a similar industry.
• Proficiency in Excel and Pronto is essential for success in this role.
• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
• The ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities.
• Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required.
