MARS are partnering with an Australian organisation in their search for an Accounts Payable Manager. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable individual to help oversee the Accounts Payable function.

The Responsibilities:

• Supervising routine department tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion across various projects and companies
• Ensuring transactions adhere to internal policies and procedures
• Reviewing and verifying employee expenses
• Monitoring bank accounts, credit cards, intercompany transactions, and supplier reconciliations
• Assisting with month-end tasks, including accruals, prepayments, and reviewing all bank and credit card reconciliations
• Processing and reviewing payment run and uploading them onto various banking platforms

The Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience at Accounts Payable Manager level
• Experience managing an offshore team (Desirable)
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Proficient with MS Excel and ERP systems - Xero and QuickBooks (Desirable)
• Experience in a hands-on role with high levels of attention to detail

To Note:

• They operate a flexible work from home of 2 days in the office per week
• Shorter notice periods will be favoured
