MARS Receruitment are partnering with a fast-growing exploration company to find a dedicated Accounts Officer. This exciting role offers the opportunity to be part of a small, dynamic team in an expanding business.

The Role
In this key role, you will manage various aspects of the accounts function, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments, along with supporting month-end processes. You'll help implement and maintain financial processes, provide valuable support across the finance team, and take ownership of a range of accounting duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mange the end-to-end Accounts Payable process.
• Manage payment runs and check invoices for accuracy.
• Ensure tax compliance and reconcile statements.
• Assist with month-end processes, bank reconciliation, and credit card statements.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of accounts payable processes.
• Continue to support and assist the Financial Controller.

About You:

• 3+ years' experience in accounts officer or a similar finance role
• A solid understanding of financial systems and proficiency in Excel will be beneficial.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Happy working in a small, collaborative team.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Clear and concise communication skills
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a desire to contribute to process improvements.
