MARS is partnering with a rapidly growing NDIS Provider to recruit a part-time Accountant for a temporary ongoing contract. The role will start at 1 day per week, with the potential to increase to up to 3 days as the position develops.
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
Process invoices received either directly from providers or participants
Submit funding claims via the NDIS Portal
Ensure invoices are paid promptly within the agreed timeframes
Verify that providers issue invoices containing the correct information in compliance with NDIS requirements
Provide participants with a monthly statement, including a detailed spending summary and a breakdown of remaining funds by support category and overall
Assist participants in exploring various budgeting options or scenarios to optimize their funding usage
Skills and Experience:
CA/CPA qualified
Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
Current NDIS check (or willing to obtain)
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Based in Blacktown
Short notice periods are highly favoured
