Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding short-term opportunity? We are seeking a locum Community Mental Health OT for a 12-week contract, working within a community mental health rehabilitation service. As an Occupational Therapist, you'll use your clinical expertise, specialised knowledge, and professional skills to create, implement, and evaluate comprehensive services designed to promote recovery in mental health care. Your work will be centered around the individual needs of each consumer, ensuring a holistic approach to care in both community and rehabilitation settings.
Working with a high degree of autonomy, you'll collaborate with a dedicated team of psychologists, support workers, and students, playing a key role in shaping the clinical framework. ✔️ Must hold a bachelor's/master's degree in Occupational Therapy and be AHPRA registered
✔️ Experience in mental health rehabilitation
✔️ Ability to apply clinical expertise to deliver high-quality services in complex care settings
✔️ Experience working autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
✔️ Strong professional judgment in selecting and adapting therapy methods and interventions
✔️ Ability to manage and prioritise workloads while supporting team resource allocation
✔️ A current driver's licence and willingness to travel
