Are you a skilled Mental Health Registered Nurse with a passion for providing high-quality care in a challenging and rewarding environment? Goulburn and High-Risk Management Correctional Centre is seeking an experienced and compassionate nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team.
This is a unique opportunity to work within a high-security correctional facility while gaining invaluable experience in mental health, emergency care, and working with individuals with drug and alcohol issues. The role offers variety and the chance to make a significant impact in an exciting and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide mental health assessments, treatment, and support to detainees
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care
• Manage acute and ongoing health conditions, including those related to drug and alcohol use
• Provide emergency care and primary care services in a correctional setting
• Assist in crisis interventions and risk assessments

Essential Criteria:

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration

• Full working rights in Australia (we are unable to offer sponsorship/visas for these roles)

• Experience in primary care or emergency nursing
• Experience in mental health and drug & alcohol care (desirable)

Further details:

• Up to $54.56 per hour DOE + Super + Casual Loading+ Shift Penalties
• Accommodation: Provided by the facility
• Meal allowance provided
• Scrubs provided by MARS Recruitment
• Travel: Reimbursed per KM if driving, or Bus/Flights booked directly
• Schedule: 38 hours per week with additional hours available at casual rates
