MARS Recruitment is collaborating with a Financial Services organisation to recruit a dedicated and technically proficient Senior Financial Accountant for a 6-month contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a Senior Financial Accountant to advance into a senior role and gain valuable exposure to ASX-listed reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the efficient completion of month-end close, including reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management reports and board reports.
• Assist with ASX listed reporting requirements on a regular basis.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements.
• Partner with business units to provide insightful analysis of financial performance.
• Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Support funding, cash flow planning, and tax funding activities.
• Ensure compliance with all tax requirements and reporting.
• Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process.

The Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years commercial experience.
• An Audit background is preferred.
• CA/CPA/ACCA qualified.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and ASIC reporting.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

To Note:

• Full time office based (5 days).
• You must be available to start immediately.
