Position Title: Credit Officer (Temporary Contract)

Duration: 6 Months +

Location: South East Melbourne

Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Credit Officer for a 6-month temporary contract to join out client, a global Consumer Goods business. The role involves assessing credit applications, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in credit evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and assess credit applications and financial documents.
• Conduct credit checks and determine appropriate credit limits.
• Monitor existing accounts and manage risk.
• Collaborate with sales and collections teams on credit-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare credit reports.
• Ensure compliance with credit policies and industry regulations.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in credit analysis or a similar role.
• Experience with SAP - Preferred
• Strong understanding of credit risk management and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and credit management software.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
