Our client is a fast growing manufacturing business located in Melbournen South East suburbs with office across Australia and New Zealand, they are seeking a experienced Financial Accountant to join their high performing Finance team on a permanent basis.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage statutory reporting of balance sheet across group entities
• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing activities.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes,
• Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies.
• Cyclical cashflow management and reporting.
• Internal stakeholder management, including senior leaders and board members.
• External stakeholder management where required.
• Reconcile bank statements, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately in the financial system.
• Manage the general ledger reconciliations, posting journal entries, and ensuring all financial data is up-to-date and accurate.

What we are looking for:

• Qualified Accountant (CPA, CA or equivalent) - Essential
• Stock Management reporting - Essential
• Previous experience working within the Supply Chain and Retail industry
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics - Essential
• Strong experience with utilising Microsoft Excel - Essential
• Problem Solving ability.
• High level of accuracy.
• Attention to detail.
• Work independently.
• Analytical.
• Proactive
