Duration: 6 weeks with possibility for extension
Hours: up to 80 hours per fortnight (8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday)
On-Call: Shared on-call roster, 7 days per week from 5:00pm onwards, with 10-hour rest breaks.
We are offering an exciting locum opportunity for an experienced radiographer to join a public hospital for 6 weeks. This role requires expertise in both X-ray and CT, with free accommodation and an allowance towards travel and flights provided.

Key Responsibilities📝

• Deliver high-quality diagnostic medical imaging services, including X-ray and CT, for both inpatients and outpatients, handling a mix of scheduled and walk-in patients.
• Work effectively as part of a team, while also demonstrating the ability to work independently when needed.
• Participate in a shared on-call roster, ensuring urgent imaging services are available outside of regular hours, with appropriate rest breaks.
• Take full responsibility for the production and delivery of medical images, from accepting examination requests to ensuring images are ready for radiologist reporting.

Requirements🎓

• Degree in Medical Imaging or equivalent qualification.
• Current radiography license and registration with the relevant Australian health authority.
• Proven experience with X-ray and CT imaging.
• Ability to work both in a collaborative team environment and independently.
• Willingness to participate in on-call duties outside of standard working hours.
• Commitment to delivering patient care with compassion, respect, and professionalism.
