Physiotherapist Opportunity with a Leading Aged Care Provider

We are currently partnering with a prominent Aged Care organisation to recruit a qualified Physiotherapist for their Home Care division. This is an exciting role that offers the opportunity to be involved in a service redesign at their centre-based activities and work within a multidisciplinary team, extending care to clients in their homes. About the Role:

Position: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the planning, development, and delivery of group-based activities at the Day Therapy Centre (DTC)
• Conduct clinical assessments and provide individualised physiotherapy treatment for clients living independently at home or at the therapy centre
• Deliver client-centred wellness and reablement programmes with goal-directed care plans
• Report to the Allied Health Team Leader and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the quality of life for customers

About You:

• Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
• Current registration with AHPRA
• Minimum 2 years experience, ideally working with the older population
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and clinical information systems
• Strong clinical report writing skills
• Effective caseload and time management
• Current driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle (as the role involves travel between work sites and clients' homes)
• Current Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one
• Willingness to obtain required vaccinations (3 x COVID-19 vaccinations and annual flu vaccination)
