About the Job

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our client's Business Systems. This role will report to the CIO but will work closely with the IT Operations Manager to ensure that all IT systems align with the organisation's goals and objectives.

The IT Business Systems Manager will also be responsible for:

• Leading and mentoring a high-performing team of IT professionals.
• Collaborating with department heads and key stakeholders to gather requirements and provide solutions that meet business needs.
• Identifying and implementing opportunities for automation and system enhancements to improve the reliability, performance, and efficiency of the Business Systems.
• Evaluating and selecting vendors to meet the organisation's Business System's needs.
• Overseeing the Business Systems budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-efficiency.

Criteria

• Relevant experience in a retail organisation
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing Business Systems
• Strong technical expertise in application operations and administration
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership, talent development, and fostering a collaborative work environment
• Experience with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems in retail operations
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills
